Guys, we are closing our March issue tomorrow. And I think

sometime tomorrow or Friday, we will have up on our website, Christine Rosen's piece on the passion for

decarceration and the ending of punishment in the United States and how this has become a signature part

of the democratic parties and the liberal agenda and what it might portend for this country.

It's a fantastic piece. I commend it to you, highly. We'll talk about it some more on the podcast,

once you get a chance to read it. And we got a lot of other good stuff in the issue. So we'll be

we'll be laying that out for you as as we go along. Yesterday, the impeachment trial of Donald

Trump kicked off in the Senate. And it was a slightly peculiar day because basically what was

being debated was what had already been voted on last week, which is whether or not it was constitutional

to try Trump after he left office. There was already a vote on this in the Senate last week,

55, 45. And then they had four hours of debate yesterday on the same question. Why this was agreed to,

why this was necessary in the negotiations between Mitch McConnell, the Senate minority leader and

Chuck Schumer and Senate majority leader is not clear to me. But there it was. So we got essentially

in lieu of an opening statement, we got an opening statement. We got the House managers,

Democratic House managers presented their killer app, the video, a horrifying video of
