The word of and from is essentially the same word. And we hear talk of the need

for freedom of religion. It's also the need for freedom from religion in our government

because you cannot have true freedom of religion if the government is telling you what to believe.

And that's what the Freedom from Religion Foundation works for,

for a government that is free from religion that protects the rights of conscience of all Americans.

And in particular, FFFRF is an organization of 42,000 nonbelievers, for the most part, atheists,

or agnostics. and we educate the public about
