As a Christian parent, I want my kids to follow Jesus.

But sometimes, and maybe you can relate to this, I forget to show them some of that before

Christ era.

But we're all aware that the Bible is full of real people with real failures.

And we know that God doesn't shy away from imperfections within a story in the Bible.

Well, today's unfolding short story comes from Amber Albie Swenson. She was leading Bible studies,

raising her family, checking all the boxes. But something was missing. The shame that she

carried from her past was quietly creating distance,

even with her own kids. It wasn't until she started to be more vulnerable with her daughter,

that real conversations and a stronger faith began to grow.

Hey, it's Amber L.B. Swenson. And about a year ago, I was given an assignment to write a book,

which became the key to confidence, where to go when you feel you're not enough. And little

did I know how much of a change it would make in my life. I wrote the book in the first chapter
