Unfolding short stories.

One of the things about sharing God's stories is that they don't always feel clean or sanitized.

I point you to the Bible. You've got stories like the woman at the well, all of the life of David, pretty much.

You know, oftentimes before an unfolding episode, Meredith has put cautions at the beginning.

It's because we know sometimes kids might be listening nearby.

Or maybe your own personal sensitivities about a particular topic might come into play. Well, today our short

story is about being, quote, spiritual. You know, spiritual in the sense of when somebody says,

I'm not religious, but I am spiritual. You know, crystals, tarot cards, maybe a little bit deeper.

Well, oftentimes when people play around with spiritual things, the spiritual attacks manifest

in ways that are a little bit more obvious. You know, I know people who really don't like

talking about this stuff. Hence the warning. My name's Jason Racco, unfolding producer. And last

week I recorded McKenzie's story. It's all about that spiritual stuff.

Actually, it's all about how God rescued her from all that spiritual stuff.

But I think you'll pick up on this as you listen.

McKenzie is one of the most joyful people I think I've spoken to in a long time.

And maybe part of it is the way that she's wired.

She's like a theater major.

But hearing her story, noticing how often she puts Jesus at the center of every part of our conversation, her constant smile, I think a big part of McKenzie's joy is because of all that Jesus has set her free from.
