Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, Zana?

I mean, I'll try, but you might not like it.

Today's topic, you guys, is all about the truth, or maybe not.

Maybe we're going to include some white lies in here.

But I feel like,

you know, I was thinking to myself the other day, is it better to know the truth no matter how

hurtful it is? Or would you rather hear a comforting lie? I would love to have the courage to

like handle the truth all the time. And I think the wisdom to understand why things are the way

they are. For me, I think I'm pretty good at telling

when people are lying. But those moments where I can't, I'll have anxiety all night. Like,

I'll be up thinking, like, were they telling me the truth? Were they lying? And that's why I think

I would rather know the truth all the time. I don't think you've ever come across a narcissist

because let me tell you, those type of people people you can't tell until you're like completely out of that relationship friendship with them and then

you start to notice their lies but you know have you seen those memes lately where it says like

you think you can hurt me but it's like I'm the oldest daughter of immigrant parents yeah there's

not one truth that will hurt me or compare to just being the oldest daughter but i just feel like

you know something that i think everybody should really understand is like the truth only looks

bitter next to a sugar-coated lie i love that that's a good analogy and that's why i think sometimes

the truth is hard to swallow because maybe more often than not we're not so so used to hearing it, which is a pretty big red flag right there.

Because if you think about it, the people that are closest to you, those are the people that, you know, obviously they're close to you because they've gained your trust, your respect and so on and so forth.

So you expect also to hear the truth from them.
