Summary

Whether you're single, in a relationship, married, or in an entanglement of sorts then this episode is a must listen. Heather is joined by internationally recognized family therapist and author Terry Real. Trust us when we say that you're going to want to grab pen and paper because this episode is full of knowledge. Heather and Terry get down to the nitty gritty of relationships and discuss all aspects of a partnership--from the differences between a good and a bad one (it's not as obvious as you might think) to the mysticism of marriage and why it does more harm than good. Think marriage will solve all your triggers and trauma? It might actually do quite the opposite. Learn all about the complexities of relationships and the dangers of individualistic thinking as Heather and Terry discuss his new book "Us: Getting Past You and Me to Build a More Loving Relationship”. Plus, Heather and Terry make a case for compassionate hierarchy while navigating parenthood. Did we mention Terry reveals his REAL name?! Please support the show by checking out our sponsors!
