Hey, Deserving listeners. So in today's episode, I'm going to review a case summary that my

0:07.1

malpractice insurance sent me, sent to all of the people with this malpractice, as an example

0:14.1

of a case that they worked on as a way of sending a cautionary tale to all the people that have this malpractice insurance.

0:24.5

You know, the insurance providers, they have an incentive to get us, the people who pay for

0:31.0

insurance, to not have any screw-ups because then the insurance company doesn't have to pay out money,

1:22.9

So, okay, I'm just going to read it and chime in.

1:29.2

The insured in this case, so insured meaning the counselor who was paying for the malpractice

1:36.8

insurance that I also pay for, the insured in this case was a licensed professional

1:41.7

counselor or an LPC.

1:48.9

So in most states in the union, the designation for your master's level therapist is a licensed professional counselor. In Washington state,

1:54.6

they're called licensed mental health counselors, but most places that they're called licensed

1:59.0
