She is chair and associate professor of English and comparative literature at San Diego State

University.

She writes often at religion dispatches and blogs and tweets at Ask Mormon Girl.

It's really nice to be here.

I'm hearing some, okay I'm turning my headphones down, but I'm also hearing an echo on the

other end, Krista, you're hearing that, okay, yet no, I'm hearing it, maybe a headphone

volume thing.

Do they feel loud?

Actually, you guys are coming in fairly quiet and we are getting the echo back, I guess,

I don't know if it's monitors coming back through on your side.

Okay, I'm still hearing it, I've got, that was a lot, that came in a lot better.

Okay, I've got my headphones turned down to, I can turn them down a little bit more.
