Summary

This week we speak with Brennan Strawn the lead singer of the band Monarch. We recorded this special candid interview back in February. This was one of our first ever recordings. It's raw, explicit and unedited. Unfortunately, we had some pretty significant technical issues with our audio that night. To re-record this episode didn’t seem quite right as you’ll find this to be one of our most raw, honest, & at times heartbreaking episodes to date. Brennan’s story is about addiction, depression, loss, & redemption. His story shows that even the people who appear to have the world at their fingertips can also be hurting in ways we might not realize. We feel that his story captured in this emotional interview serves as an important reminder that anyone can fall victim to addiction, depression, and the trappings of life; but there is always hope. This episode contains some language, and may not be suitable for everyone. If you or anyone you know is thinking about hurting themselves there are people that can help. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
