Hello listeners, welcome back to Underwood and Flinch. In this episode, we're back with Underwood,

David and Claire Redmond on the plane heading out to Henry Vellane. So, let's get straight to the recap,

and then on into the story. We're on a private jet belonging to Henry Vellane,

flying from London to Florida.

On board are Underwood, David, Inspector Claire Redmond,

the vampire, Celeste, and her guardian, Claude,

and also some cabin crew who are there to wait, hand and foot on the passengers,

and to offer their neckscks in case the guest of honour

Underwood is hungry. So so far he seems quite content with a glass or two of sanguevita.

In episode three, when we were last with our friends, Underwood returned to his origin story

and told how back in 1719 off the coast of colonial Virginia, he and Matthias Flinch

made up their differences after they're falling out at the end of Underwood and Flinch blood and smoke,

you know, because Underwood blew up Valane's ship and left the survivors to the sharks.

That last bit was what upset Matthias and led him to

believe that Underwood was possessed by a demon, but in our last episode, Underwood dispelled that

idea, and now they're friends again, and heading into the Chesapeake Bay bound for a port town

called Norfolk, which if you live in America, especially in Virginia,

you probably know all about. In fact, you may even live there, I don't know. But anyway,

while all this was going on, Claire Redmond was eavesdropping nearby. She's feigning sleep,

listening in on Underwood and David's conversation, hoping to learn something useful about her

enemies, and by not sitting with them, she hopes that they'll be inclined to reveal more than they
