Today we are gonna be talking about the pelvic floor.

I know I've talked about the pelvic floor

in a couple of other episodes

because as we know, the pelvic floor is part of the core.

If you look at the core like a canister, like you know a jug,

you have the top part, which is your diaphragm

and then the middle of the jug is all of your ab muscles

and then the bottom of the jug is your pelvic floor.

So it's all one unit that affects each other

and it's really, really important to see it that way.

Something that I've noticed is there's a lot of confusion

about the pelvic floor and the tension in the pelvic floor.

If it is weak or it is tight.

And I did a reel this week on my social media handle,

deliciously fit and healthy.

And I showed some symptoms of a tight pelvic floor

and it just blew up and people were like,

oh my gosh, I had no idea.

I thought my pelvic floor was weak because they had leakage.

But leakage is a sign of both a tight and a weak pelvic floor
