Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday's retreat.

This week's guest may not be a household name.

He is in my household, but he may not be in yours, not yet at least.

But he could be, and I would argue he should be.

When you listen to his resume and what he's done in life and what he's currently doing,

I think at least for me, he's the perfect person for us, and I include me in it, to kind

of learn about some of the things that are happening in the justice realm and this intersection

between justice and politics.

I'm probably going to botch some of his background and hopefully he will correct me.

If memory serves me correctly, he was an assistant in honest state's attorney.

He may well have been the United States attorney.

He was a deputy attorney general in the Department of Justice.

He was the acting attorney general.

He has a thriving private practice now with a great law firm, McGuire Woods.

He represents, he's represented some of my former colleagues when I was in Congress.
