cocooning itself, and then becoming a beautiful butterfly.

But imagine that same process, only this time the caterpillar is dead.

If it still becomes a graceful butterfly, that's more than a transformation. That's a miracle.

Well, that's exactly what it is, a miracle when a person hears God's word and becomes a Christian.

A spiritual corpse becomes forever alive.

I invite you to consider the power source behind that miracle,

as John MacArthur takes a foundational look at the inspiration of Scripture in his study called Making a Case for the Bible.

Before the lesson, though, we received a letter

from a young lady who, along with her missionary family, has grown from John MacArthur's

Bible teaching. It's a brief but encouraging story, so let me read what Anna told us. She writes,
