1:02.4	relationships are a mirror of ourselves, which I have found to be true. Well, I am blessed with good
1:10.7	relationships in my life.
1:13.6	My relationship with my daughter who struggles with mental health
1:17.6	and is currently on medication for depression is not good.
1:22.6	I want us to be close.
1:24.6	But our relationship feels one-sided where I give and give and everything must be done her way
1:30.3	or else. We have problems. I'm tired of walking on eggshells with her. But I can give her a pass
1:38.1	on some of her behavior because of her mental health issues. So my question is this. How do I know if her behavior is really a mirror reflecting
1:46.2	back aside of me? Or is it just someone who is dealing with mental health issues? Thank you, Jody.
1:56.5	First of all, relationships and the world is a mirror reflecting back to us.
2:08.2	What we project onto it from the depth of our being, whether that's conscious or unconscious.
2:14.6	So children do have a tendency to reflect back to us things that we
2:18.7	suppress. It will show up in our children. And so there's two things you say here. You give and give and give.
2:24.6	It's one-sided. And then you're saying, is there a difference between, is her behavior really
2:29.9	something within me that's reflecting back to me, or is this someone who's dealing with
2:34.1	mental issues?
