Welcome to episode 3189 of the Survival Podcasts of Monday.

So as per usual, you have me, just Jack.

And we're going to be talking about permaculture today in a way that I don't think we ever have before.

I was thinking over the weekend where, by the way, I got to spend some time with family.

I don't usually get to do that or to see.

And so that was great.

I was thinking, what can I talk about on Monday?

And I realized like tons of you guys.

Like I know that the viewer count would be higher if we talked about something like the fact that the 101st Airborne has been deployed.

To Europe and what that could mean for the Ukraine Russian conflict and drawing the US into a frickin world war or something like that or all the doom and gloom or what the dimension patient in the White House said or what the orange band said because both of them says we're pretty stupid shit over the past week.

Like that gets more people to show up.

But why we do a thing is less important than the thing that we do.

We have to examine the why at times it gives us impetus, it gives us motivation, but what we do in our sphere of influence and our sphere of control is what really matters.

And most of the stuff when we talk about those other things that again, more people show up.

More people show up when I do it.

If I wanted more listeners, if I wanted more viewers, if I wanted to be bigger than I am, I would talk about that shit night and day, seven days a week and nothing else.

But then I wouldn't have a group of people who are really dedicated to making their lives better and being prepared for all the crap that all this nonsense causes.

And instead of having a moderate size group of people who really really mean what they say, I'd have a huge group of people who like to hear themselves talk.
