another great show for you today but first Lindsay do you have any media

recommendations shoutouts or just any other happy

thoughts to get the good vibes rolling here at the start of the episode.

Yeah I feel like I always just have media recommendation because I love receiving media

recommendations so hopefully people like getting them as well. But you and I saw

the movie Bottoms last week. I think it's getting a wider theatrical release and is available in more theaters now. But I wanted to recommend it because I loved it so much. It's like a teen sex comedy. It reminded me a lot of mean girls which was like very

formative for me in my teenage years. There's also kind of hints of like the John Hughes movies from the

80s. But it's set in a high school. It's these two gay girls who start a fight

club to try to make out with cheerleaders and it's just a perfect movie like it's a tight 90 minutes which I feel like you don't see very often anymore. Movies are so fucking long now and it's very silly and there are parts of it that are just like absurd without like explaining why the world is like a little bit

absurd in strange ways that you're not expecting but it's also grounded and like I feel like you could see a lot of your own kind of high school

experience or how the high school experience is portrayed in this movie.

I really loved it and I think everyone should see it. I hope it becomes like a classic teen movie.

Yeah, I definitely enjoyed it as well and I also need to give a shout out to Marsha on Lynch.

Oh yes.

Might be the greatest comedic actor of our times and is just generally I think one of the

funniest people ever.

Yeah, so he plays the teacher who's like the faculty advisor

for the Fight Club that the girls start.

And I also, I heard that a bunch of his funniest lines were improvised.

Like he's killing it.

Absolutely.
