0:16.2	I went to spend the book of our time together talking about the wrath of God, which is a subject that most of us are uncomfortable talking about.
0:22.1	But if you're reading along to the book of
0:24.0	revelation, I want to make sure you understand a little bit about what's happening in
0:27.9	this section of the book that begins in revelation chapter six. So in the Book of Revelation,
0:33.3	we encounter three sets of seven judgments.
0:36.8	There's the seven seals, followed by the seven trumpets,
0:39.5	and then the seven bulls.
0:41.0	And I'm sure you've noticed that numbers are important in the Book of Revelation.
0:45.0	So 7 is the number of perfection, implying that something was done by God's design.
0:51.0	Seven is the ultimate expression of something.
0:54.0	So 7 times 3 or 3 sets of 7 judgments equals triple perfection.
1:00.0	God's judgment comes against evil. See, and God's judgment comes against evil.
1:04.0	See, and God's judgment always has two goals.
1:06.0	The first goal is that people will repent of their sin and turn to him.
1:10.0	The second goal is that his judgment will bring justice to a broken world.
1:15.0	Now some people are really uncomfortable with the judgment of God and other people seem
1:21.0	to be a little too enthusiastic about God judging their enemy.
1:25.1	I think both attitudes are wrong.
1:27.3	We should never be excited that God's judgment is coming on someone else, but neither
1:31.8	should we be embarrassed of God's judgment.
