Hey everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin. And welcome to this week's episode where we are continuing our quote unquote underrated lines series. And today we're talking all about

the original trilogy. And this was so much fun. I basically spent the last day and a half

rewatching the original trilogy. And you know what?

Pretty good movies. I got to say. Still good. Still good. Still good. Still really good. The classic

trilogy. The thing is the the term original trilogy, sometimes I like bristle at it a little bit.

If I overthink it. Yeah. If I overthink it, I think it is original, obviously. But Lucasfilm doesn't call it the original trilogy. They call it the classic trilogy. And I think that's interesting. Is this going to be your new hill to die on? Like my second trilogy, hell with the prequel trilogy? Second trilogy, first trilogy, third trilogy. No, I just think we've never really talked about that on the show before about how I think there has been a PR switch of how people talk about the original trilogy within Lucasfilm in Disney. Because I think the term original implies everything after it is worse or not original,

like not original to the company. Does that make sense? And they all are original to the company.

And so this is just the classic trilogy. I don't know if I just, I agree with that, by the way.

I think then, I agree with you that the original makes it sound like somehow it's the best. And I almost think that classic kind of gives that too, to a lesser degree than original. So I almost think to call it the first trilogy is kind of the most neutral out of those three options.

I still think there is something about the connotation of first to.

I know.

It's loaded.

Yeah, being loaded.

But I think out of original classic and first, maybe first is lesser loaded, less loaded. I don't know. I don't know. I think this is a good conversation,

though. Who knows what the title of this podcast is going to be? Right. Right now in our notes,

this is underrated lines in the original trilogy. Maybe you should record another prologue with

classic Star Wars trilogy. I think the one that I wrote before you wrote this one had said classic.
