You're going to stay positive. You're going to make a change. Remember, no elevator in life, baby. Here's what we're going to start with. We do not want to ever be held hostage by anybody or anything in our lives, in our business, in our relationships. Think about that. How many times whether you've been a manager,

whether you've been a teacher, whether you've been an entrepreneur or a business owner,

whatever it is in the business aspect of this, when people think they're bigger than the system,

when people think and they're, hey, if you get rid of me, you're out of business.

Or if you don't pay me this, I'm leaving. You need to be able to not only empower yourself, but educate yourself the difference of being held hostage where if somebody or something happens and you falter and it shuts down

compared to making a machine.

What really should happen is every employee in a company, Every student, teacher, something in an organization

should be a cog in a wheel, on a vehicle, on a road, moving. You can never be held hostage by

things because then you make decisions based on emotion and not on facts, based on fear,

and not on things that you need to do to be better. I'm challenging everybody to pay attention to this in business several times, many times. I ran a company I did home security for a long time. Basically knocked on a door, told people, hey, your yard looks great. Let me stick a yard sign in here. We're going to get you this free home security system. You're going to pay a dollar a day for the monitoring. Keep the bad guys away. All your neighbors

are going to see this sign. They're going to call us for a referral. That was the program that we built.

Problem was is when we trained sales reps, we train sales managers to do this. Sometimes when people

become too successful, their head gets really big, they start thinking they're

bigger than the system. I have failed and learned from that many times where I've empowered,

I've entitled, and I've given too much energy attention and kudos, right, to those folks that go out

there and do that. And guess what? It burns me. They don't show up to work one day. We're out. They decide they want to open up their own company. We're done. When you put too much emphasis, energy in your business or your job or your career on other people or other things, they can be broken. You have to make yourself bulletproof.

How do you do that? Make sure everything is interchangeable. Make sure everybody's replaceable,

including yourself. Make sure that you're making decisions for the whole organization or for the

entitled goal, whatever that why is, whatever you're trying to accomplish, not for your self

indulgence and especially not for somebody else's. This happens all the time. How many of us have

been in a relationship where it's like, if you don't do that, I'm going to leave you. Or if you
