Even after a solid draft, the way the Packers season ended has left a sour taste in the mouth of the NFL viewing public.

I will not get sucked into an offseason power rankings debate.

I want to talk about the Packers draft pick with the most to prove, with the most pressure to perform.

And I want to talk about free agent tight ends. Okay. to prove with the most pressure to perform.

And I want to talk about free agent tight ends.

But let's start with the non-power rankings discourse.

Because every media company is going to come out with them in the next week.

The post-draft power rankings.

I could not possibly care less because we always overestimate the ability for a draft to affect the medium to good teams and we always underestimate the ability for the draft

to affect some of the middle and lower teams that all of a sudden are

propelled forward because they're going to have a great draft and we're just not going to know it.

There's going to be someone that's going to come out of nowhere somewhere and elevate their

team and we're not even going to be predicting. We're not thinking about them right now.

But the Packers are lower than you might expect, especially given where their Super Bowl odds were.

Like, it wasn't that long ago.

There was the Seahawks, the Rams, and then they were in the next tier with the Eagles, the Lions, and it was the Packers.

You look at the power rankings, all of a sudden, they're looking up at some NFC teams and you're just going like,
