Muslims are forbidden to have sex before being wed.

In a pleasure marriage, a man marries a woman for a very short time, days or even just hours in order to sleep with her.

Pleasure marriages, also known as Muta, are against Iraqi law.

But some Shia clerics still officiate them in return for money, saying Islam allows it.
