next day. One of the online retail giants we might turn to this festive season is Buhu,

one of the biggest fast fashion brands in the UK. Its popularity has rocketed thanks to

huge, constantly changing catalogs and their use of the marketing power of influences.

I think it looks great. But the brand has been rocked by scandal.

The multi-million pound online fashion retailer Buhu is facing the possibility of a US import

ban alongside many of its suppliers following widespread allegations over the use of slave

labour. Campaign Group Labor behind the label also said it had reports of workers forced

to come in while sick with Covid-19 and factories operating illegally through lockdown.

When the scandal broke, Buhu insisted that these employees weren't directly hired by them,

casting the blame on their suppliers instead. Even so, they promised to address concerns.
