Hi there, I'm David Rigen. I'm a filmmaker, writer, and the host of the CBC Podcast,

someone knows something. I want to tell you about Angel Karlek. I investigate Angel's case in

the new season of someone knows something. Angel was a vibrant 19-year-old youth worker,

nicknamed Happy Go Lucky by some of her loved ones up in the Yukon. She had big plans after

graduation to become legal guardian of her brother and was working to support struggling youth at

her local resource center. But in May 2007, as she was celebrating her graduation from high school,

Angel disappeared. Months later, her remains were found in a remote area outside Whitehorse.

In the highly anticipated eighth season of someone knows something, I delve into this cold case that

has haunted the whole area for more than 15 years. Working alongside Angel's family, friends,

and community, I uncovered new details about the case and strive to bring Angel justice while
