I'm your host, Jason Staples, here to talk about Florida states, quite frankly, disastrous opener against Alabama.

An opener that those of you who've been listening to my podcast

know that I fully expected Florida State to win this game. If you go back to my pregame

analysis of this, I felt like Florida State would need to be minus one or better in the turnover quasi turnover margin.

And as long as they were minus one or better,

so didn't turn it over one more time than Alabama,

or didn't turn it over more than one time more than Alabama,

along with giving up special teams plays or whatever,

that they should win this game. And, you know, giving up special teams plays or whatever, that they should win this

game. And, you know, well, that I still stand by most of what I said. I was completely wrong

about the outcome. I still stand by pretty much my analysis that

Florida States minus one in the turnover or quasi turnover margin, they probably win the game,

but they were far from that. We'll get further into that as we get into the episode and

break down what happened and then what we can kind of expect

moving forward.
