following Florida State's 22 to 16 loss in Atlanta to Georgia Tech.

And wow, where do we even start?

The first thing, I guess the first thing to get out here is just how eerily similar in many respects this game was to Florida State's last two conference losses.

Now, remember, Florida State had gone 28 games since its last in-conference loss,

which was on the road in a night game in Raleigh in 2012, losing to NC State 17 to 16.

And the time before, the previous conference loss had been 2011, Virginia,

which was lost on a missed kick at the gun,

a missed over 50-yard kick by Dustin Hopkins at the gun.

So a lot of similarities actually, I mean, just off the top of my head,

just a couple similarities in terms of going to the 2012 NC State game,

16 points in the first half,

including a couple early stalls inside the 10-yard line, inside the 20-yard line,

ultimately getting shut out in the second half and painfully watching a late drive to, in this

case, tie it up, in that case, to go ahead.

And finally, a special team, a fluke special teams play that ultimately led, directly led to the loss.
