Today in the podcast, we're going to talk about the Florida State defense.

What's sort of been lacking, comparing it a little bit to last season, and what we can expect from this defense moving forward.

First things first, it's obvious that this, that this defense is

nowhere near what we saw from Florida State last year. And, you know, that's, there's no,

there's nothing wrong with that. Last year's defense was one of the best in recent memory. It was up

there with the, with the Alabama defense from 2009 and

several other defenses that have been extraordinarily dominant over the past few years. Last year's

defense was as good as anybody. So to expect this year's defense to be on the same, on the same level,

to be on par with what we saw last year,

I think was probably an outsized expectation to begin with. And I think that's one of the

reasons at this point that so many people have really been questioning this team and have

questioned this defense to the degree that they have.

I don't think there's any doubt that it's not the dominant unit that people expected.

But if last year, if we hadn't already had last year, if we hadn't seen what that defense could look like last year,
