Hey moms, this is Heidi St. John. I am in the book of Ephesians today, chapter five,

verses 22 through 33 is kind of a long passage for what I normally do with you, but I want

to talk about marriage, and this is probably one of the better passages that we can study

for just a few minutes here. So if you've got your Bible, go ahead and open it up to the

book of Ephesians, chapter five, verse 22. I am in the NIV today, that's the new international

version, and this is what it says, wives, submit to your own husbands as you do to the Lord

for the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body,

of which he is the savior. Now, as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should

submit to their husbands in everything. Verse 25, husbands love your wives just as Christ

love the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing

with water through the word and to present her to himself as a radiant church without

stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In the same way, husbands
