unique episode i have a special guest my new friend Pete, and he has a book Catching

Hope, and Pete and I share a lot of things in common. We are fishermen. We are fishers of men.

We love Jesus. We believe that the church, the typical church model of brick and mortar is not

necessarily broken, but there's some

crack showing and that we need to meet people where they are not everyone is going to church

these days for a variety of different reasons but yet i think all of us especially as we're

recording this there's a war going on in the background there's a lot of craziness happening

in the political scenes.

There's fake news and real news and a flurry of things in between. And people are just

craving truth. They're craving a relationship with Jesus. Sometimes don't know where to go,

get that. And not that we're going to be able to reach every single person out

there but there are so many people as I've seen salt strung on church continue to grow week

after week and month after month and now a couple years I know we're doing something very very powerful

and Pete is actually doing church outside on the on the river there in dc a really really unique and he is speaking a

lot of truth i love as i said he's got a new book coming out we're both raised episcopalian

and we're kind of laughing uh prior to hitting the record button about some uh love hate relationship
