Easter Sunday. What's the big deal? What does it mean? Hey, everybody. Joe Simons, like diamonds. Happy Easter, first and foremost. And if you're wondering, what does it mean?

Or if you've struggled with it in the past,

like I have, honestly, this might be a really, really helpful one. Even if you haven't, just a good

reminder about what's so special about Easter, why it's so important to the world, to Christianity,

to being forgiven of our sins, to knowing that there is a heaven that we are

loved, that we do have a father, that Jesus is real, all this great stuff. So this is going to be

a little bit different. There was a scripture I found online from Rick Warren. Rick Warren has

written a couple of really popular books. I've talked about them before in the past. And just an amazing, essentially a speech about Easter and why Easter

matters and kind of what it means. I'll talk about my story real quick, if you don't know it.

You know, after college got a great job, was making good money,

kind of felt invincible, and had not gone to church in quite some time. And it wasn't that I

gave up on God per se. It was just that God and Jesus and Christianity were pretty far down

on the totem pole.

Then some of it was because I just didn't really understand it, a lot of it, because I hadn't

really dug that deep to try to even understand it.
