Hello, Salt Strong Unchurched. Joe Simons, like diamonds, back again.

The title of this one might have grabbed your attention, call it drugs, alcohol, and saltwater fishing.

Does it get any better than that?

And I'm obviously being a little facetious there.

But last week, or I guess, yeah, two weeks ago, I'm losing track of my weeks here,

had on a great guest, Ben, telling his story about some of the things that he struggled with with lust and porn, et cetera. And another longtime listener, Blaine Roberts,

who's also an insider member and now doing some coaching for us up there in the panhandle.

He had reached out and said,

hey, man, I got a really powerful story to share as well around drugs and alcohol and even

going, you know, somewhat homeless. I haven't heard the full story. So you're getting here at the same

time I do. And he says, you know, it was fishing and some faith that really saved me and

turn my life around.

And I know he's tried a lot of things in terms of going towards more of a sober life and a more of a faith-filled life and trying to be the best version of himself.

And I think you'll hear there's probably no cookie cutter version of it.
