I'm reading a new book. I know, shocker. I like to read books. And this one's called

The Expectation Effect. And this one's called the expectation effect,

Really fascinating book.

And it's just chock full of stories this guy David Robson has been studying the mind and

and really going deep in all the studies around the world that have been out there around mindset and even getting into like placebo effect and

and really just what our minds can do and I'm going to share a couple of them. This Harvard one, the first one is really, really wild.

And so this is, you know, this is a documented Harvard study.

And it was all about mindset and basically seeing if they could get people and tell them a story about something they're doing to see how it's going to change their bodies, like their actual health.

And this one was with maids.

It's like meaning cleaning ladies in a hotel.

They got 84 of them and split them into two groups.

And these were maids who were working there full time.

They didn't have time to exercise, do anything normal.

And they told them they weren't supposed to do anything normally.

They were in some sort of study study but they didn't have any
