After weeks on the River of Doubt, Theodore Roosevelt’s expedition is on the verge of collapse. But hope emerges when they find clues that Brazilian frontiersmen may be living and working in the wilderness nearby. As Roosevelt’s health deteriorates, drastic measures must be taken to fight the infection in his leg. The men must race to return the former president to civilization before illness and starvation claim his life.

1:50.5 | But Kermit's smile begins to fade. There's something he's not saying. |
1:55.5 | Before Roosevelt can ask, the tent flap opens and Dr. Kajieira enters. |
2:01.5 | Feeling better, I see. A little worse for where. But ready to get back in the saddle. |
2:07.5 | The doctor gives Roosevelt a quick examination, checking his temperature and inspecting the infection in his leg. |
2:15.5 | Your fever is breaking, but your leg is looking much worse than yesterday. |
