Welcome in to Inside Carolina next level. It's been a while. Greg and I last talked, I guess, on IC Daily back in May, in May or early June. I can't remember, Greg. It's been a while. And of course, early June. Yeah.

When you go to Omaha and you spend 13 days in Omaha and then another night on the road or in the air trying to get back.

It's almost like the men in black thing.

It just sort of takes your memories away of everything.

But a fun trip nonetheless.

Greg, you've been hard at work on a variety of topics.

Most recently, and we're recording this on July 1st, so most recently the NIL subject column you had that came out today on Inside Carolina. We'll talk about that on another show, but Boba Cunningham, he had an article, sort of the legacy of Bubba Cunningham, as North Carolina is now under the leadership of Steve Newmark.

Greg, just overall thoughts, and let's get into it to discuss the last several years.

I mean, there's some highs, there's some lows, there's some what's going on moments, a lot of things.

But that's the nature of the beast for college athlete directors these days.

It is, especially at the powerful level, Tommy.

If you make everybody happy over a 15-year span like Bubba had,

then you're kind of out of this world, as they would say.

And I think Bubba did a really good job.

And I really think you kind of break his tenure into two parts.

And the first part of the feature that we have on Bubba that came out this week is,

you know, about the NCAA investigation.

North Carolina needed someone like Bubba Cunningham to step into the mix after everything

had kind of blown up the way it had in 2010 and 2011, really his first 12 to 18 months,

to have someone with the background that Bubba did

dating back to his time at Notre Dame and then of course going to the ball state and

Tulsa but just having a a long-standing under understanding of what the NCAA was about
