You know, there are times where I wish I was still a college student.

There were times that I'm glad I am not.

Let's talk a little bit of baseball, Coach Forbes.

It is a nice diversion to talk about your program a lot,

has gone on this fall.

We got to see you against Walter State,

and then, of course, the two World Series games on Monday and Tuesday against each other.

But I want to start with a fun question.

Nick Saban, you got to talk to him.

I want to know you talk a lot about heart rates and keeping your heart rate down.

What was that conversation like when you had that opportunity back a month or so ago?

You know what?

I think I did pretty good.

I was nervous, a good nervous, but like, you know, I knew so much about him.

It didn't surprise me that he was like he was, really humble.

I knew a lot about baseball, knew about our baseball program, was very complimentary of it.

Had a connection there because Coach Gaines' brother-in-law kicked at Alabama, Riley's brother. So we got to talk about that a little bit to break the ice, and we spent about 20 minutes.
