And the the Oh, Agon had been crowned when the conquest began, or arguably before it began, no one had actually bent a single knee other than people

who had already bent their knee to him as their lord. But now that it was nearing completion,

a second crowning became more sensible.

And it made sense for a variety of reasons.

He had wanted all along as a strategy

to demonstrate his power as a dragon lord first and then as a king and with that power to overwhelm everyone.

And what better way to demonstrate that by being ordained by the most powerful religious leader in the biggest city with

Balarian on hand for all to see none could doubt the stories they had heard of

the ease in which the Targaryans had subjugated dynasties that had ruled for eons.

Everyone would know, and everyone would know why.

But even with all those eyes on the dragons, with all those knees bent to the conqueror, and even with the seven above seemingly accepting Agon as their king, there remained many who did not. They didn't see it that way. Some chose independence,

some descended into, I'd say chose chaos, but more like chaos chose them.

Some followed different gods, so the ordaining of the hystepton didn't mean as much. But all

would pay a high price for their shot at freedom. And I say shot, because not all would be
