Well, can you believe it Easter is on us already.

Yesterday was Good Friday. Tomorrow Easter Sunday and this

is the sort of in-between bit. It's that part of the time when Jesus as it were

was in the grave before he resurrected again.

Well, we're really reflecting today on the show on what happened yesterday,

what we commemorated yesterday, which was Jesus' death on the cross.

This is unbelievable, the place where Christians and non-Christians get

together to talk. And as we reflect on the Easter doctrine of the cross we've

got an atheist with us.

Marilyn Mason says as an atheist she finds it a very odd thing to believe that God

would send the punishments of the

on his only son. It seems unjust, unfair, immoral, even a repugnant doctrine.

She wouldn't want to worship a god like that even if she did believe in God.
