Hey there. I am so glad that we get to serve you today through this podcast.

I pray God is going to speak to you.

Romans 1 verse 8 Lord speak to us a powerful and living word this morning.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you because your faith is being reported all

over the world. Now who is he talking to? Talking to the Romans and there's some suggestion toward

the last chapter of Romans when he makes mention of Rome that it may not be so much in the capital

city at this time as it was outside the capital city, which sometimes can be the norm that things don't often just explode in one

central cosmopolitan city as often as they might begin in these seed places, fires set in various communities that

finally feed in to a major metropolitan area and that's what was going on there.

It says in verse 9, God, whom I served with my whole heart in preaching the gospel of his son, is my witness how constantly I remember you in my prayers at all times. And I pray that now at last by God's will, the way may be open

for me to come to you, verse 11. I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual

gift, some spiritual gift to make you strong,

you strong, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith.

I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I plan many times to come to you but have now been prevented

from doing so until now in order that I might have a harvest among you just as I've had among the

other Gentiles.

verse 14 I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks,

both to the wise and the foolish.

That is why I'm so eager to preach the gospel also

to you who are at Rome. I am not ashamed of the gospel. Say I'm not ashamed of the gospel.

Because it is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes first for the Jew then for the Gentile for in the gospel
