Gaza, they head of humanitarian affairs for the United Nations, said there's no longer any

humanitarian operation worthy of that name in the south of the territory. an Egypt trying to escape intense fighting elsewhere.

In other news, the United States has reiterated its support for Guyana's sovereignty

as tensions rise over plans announced by Venezuela to annex the oil rich region of

Esquebo.

Also in this podcast. Italian Opera big bold and now recognized by the UN no less.

We begin in Gaza after After two months of war, four fifths of Gaza's residents, according to the

UN, have been displaced, many of them several times over. Their homes, businesses, mosques and schools have been

damaged, destroyed or abandoned as too dangerous and many of them are now constantly

on the move from Northern Gaza where Israel began its military campaign against

Hamas, deemed a terror organisation by many Western governments to Carnunis.

That's now the focus of Israeli ground and air operations. Tens of thousands of

Palestinians are now fleeing further south to Raffa City on the border with Egypt.

The streets of Raffa are now packed with people with shortages in water and

electricity. Here's our diplomatic correspondent Paul Adams in Jerusalem.
