And I really believe that. I'm Michael Coppe and I'm 74 years old.

I used to teach at a college here in Duluth, Minnesota, but I'm since retired, but

I'm in a sense not actually retired anymore because I now build high-end furniture. I have three employees,

and we do that about 30 hours a week. When he's not making furniture, Michael runs what are called

ultramarathons, which are races that are longer than a standard marathon. Typical ultramarathons are

between 30 and 100 miles long,

but can be as long as 200 miles or even longer.

Michael has run nine ultramarathons of 200 miles or more,

setting some impressive records along the way.

I mean, there's certainly many younger, faster runners,

but for my age, I set my first FKT,

which stands for fastest known time on the Superior Hiking Trail.

And that's a trail that's 310 miles long, and it's right here in Duluth.
