As much as Aaron Rogers has frustrated me, and the New York Jets are dead, DED dead,

they don't have anybody sitting on their bench to explore.

There's no Bryce Petty or Greg McElroy or Tommy DeVito that you can say, hey, you never know.

So the idea of benching Aaron Rogers, I mean, you're

benching him for Tyrod Taylor. So after the game yesterday, Jeff Olbrick was asked the question

about, hey, you guys stink. Have you given thought to benching Aaron Rogers? Here's the question.

Here's his answer. Would you ever consider making a change at that position now?

Not as of today. See, when he says not as of today, whether Jeff Obrick knew it or not, he opened himself up to the, you know, the questions of him. Not as of today.

What about tomorrow? What about Tuesday? How about Wednesday? Are you done with him on Thursday? So I don't know if that was lack of today. What about tomorrow? What about Tuesday? How about Wednesday?

Are you done with him on Thursday?

So I don't know if that was lack of experience from an interim head coach, or he is actually telling us, yeah, we're good for now.

Well, maybe it was just an emotional response to a question that clearly was somewhere

in the back of his mind.

Well, today is Monday, and he spent the first six minutes of his press conference. I'm not

even kidding you. Answering the same question a hundred different times from all the great

jet reporters, which is, will you bench Aaron Rogers? Are you considering benching Aaron Rogers?

What will you say to Aaron Rogers?

And Jeff Ulbrick remains steadfast.

He is our quarterback.

Yeah, so he's going to stay.
