Summary

Ukrainian forces are continuing their counteroffensive against the Russians in the northeastern Kharkiv region. As Russian troops have started to retreat, there’s new evidence of atrocities in Ukraine’s second largest city. CNN International Security Editor Nick Paton Walsh joins AC360 from Kharkiv to give an update on what he’s been seeing. Plus, Bill Gates is the co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the author of the new book “How to Prevent the Next Pandemic.” He’s currently recovering from a Covid-19 infection even after having his two-shot vaccine and two boosters. He explains to Anderson Cooper why we should be focusing on lifelong duration vaccines.  To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
