G7 leaders are in Italy for a summit at which they're likely to approve a plan to use

frozen Russian assets to fund the defense of Ukraine.

The EU's top court has ordered Hungary to pay a fine of more than 200 million dollars for failing to comply with the bloc's migration policy.

Also in this podcast, 1,000 days since the Taliban banned Afghan girls from attending high school

the UN says that systematic exclusion is harming their mental health. A BBC Arabic

investigation has found that the warring parties in Sudan

are using weapons provided by Iran and the United Arab Emirates despite UN arms embargo.

And in the United States, a restaurant turns away adult diners if they're not

old enough.

Under sunny skies in Bari, the Italian Prime Minister Georgia Maloney,

fresh from her recent European election success, has been welcoming world. G7

success has been welcoming world leaders to a G7 summit.

Migration is one of Italy's biggest concerns,

particularly with thousands of people every year trying to get across the Mediterranean

from Africa to Europe. Ms Maloney is asking other nations to contribute financially to what's

known as the Matay plan which gives African countries grants and loans to develop their economies and green energy projects.
