Well, sometimes we look forward to our shows,

and this was one of the shows we hoped never to have to do so on February the 24th so

next Friday it is the one year anniversary of the war in Ukraine but with such an important topic

we want to cycle back around again and look at the issues involved and get the voices of much more informed people than ourselves.

So Simon, who have we got with us in the studio?

So joining us in the studio again is Paul Flendley, who is a senior lecturer in politics

and international relations at Portsmouth University.

So he came on the show last year to talk us through that.

So we wanted to hear what Paul had to say.

And after Paul's interview, we've got some recorded interviews with some ladies who are either

working to help those Ukrainians that are seeking shelter in the UK and actually the Ukrainians

back in Ukraine. And also we've got one of those refugee ladies coming on to share her experience as well.

So as you say, people that know a lot more about this experience to share than us,

and I'm sure all of our listeners that want to be able to understand what it is that they can do

to continue to help or to help more than what they need to be able to do to help that.
