| 0:40.5 | It's a topic we've heard for the last few years, but what does it really sort of mean? |
| 0:45.8 | It was Theresa May at the end of her premiership, kind of attempt to have some sort of legacy on her time in office. |
| 0:48.5 | And what is it when she announced it and where is it kind of now? |
| 0:55.4 | Good question. I mean, I think it kind of gets kicked around a little bit as a kind of political concept, |
| 1:00.2 | whereas at its foundation, it's really just a simple scientific equation, |
| 1:05.2 | unless you stop adding emissions to the atmosphere, unless you get to zero, |
| 1:11.0 | and net out by sucking out emissions, trees, that kind of thing, anything that's still going up there, |

| 1:18.3 | You know, the IPCC, all of the world's governments and leading scientists in this space are very clear. |

| 1:21.7 | And I think to a certain extent, the debate around this has kind of lost that key point, |

| 1:28.5 | Net zero is not divorced from climate change, solving climate change, net zero, one and the same. |
