Well, Donald Trump is finally in possession of a Nobel Peace Prize when given to him

by the Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Karina Achado.

An extraordinary day of deceit and deception yesterday and we're not talking about the traitors.

This is Westminster's seeing a conservative

stalwart cross over to reform. And will you be able to catch the Tour de France? Next year,

The Venezuelan opposition leader, Maria Carino Mach Machado has given her Nobel Peace Prize to

won Donald J Trump. The pair met at the White House and Machado says she gave it to him in

recognition of what she called his efforts to support Venezuelan freedom. The president called

it a wonderful gesture of mutual respect. Now, Trump had previously dismissed Machado as a successor

to Nicola Maduro and had backed his Vice President Delci Rodriguez instead. Remember, Nicola Maduro

was captured by the US at the start of the year in Caracas and he's now in a jail in New York

charged with drug trafficking. Yeah, and really interesting, isn't it, that Marina Carina Machado has gone ahead with this promise to give the Nobel Peace Prize to President Trump.

And this is despite the Nobel Committee themselves insisting that it's a prize that can't be transferred and it can't be shared.

Although I do notice that they have posted on X,

saying that a medal can change owners, a medal can change owners, but the title of a Nobel

Peace Prize laureate cannot. And she's clearly really keen to try to charm a President Trump.

I mean, perhaps a little stung by the fact that he chose to endorse Maduro's former

Vice President Delci Rodriguez instead of her.
