Hello, this is an extra podcast which we're releasing today, the day before the UK general election on June 8th.

As some of you may know, in recent years our team has been invited on to Radio Falls's news programme PM to fact check and give extra context to claims

that have been made, often by politicians, in the run-up to elections.

We have brought together just a few of our recent interviews with the presenter Eddie Mayor.

And as the Lib Dems launched their manifesto today, the Poirolyse team are looking at a claim made in a leaflet from

Liberal Democrats in Liverpool spotted by a PM listener.

This claim was made on an election leaflet that dropped onto the door mats of homes in

Liverpool and the headline on the leaflet was

Tori's plot cuts to local schools. The leaflet claims the Tories hope to

snatch 30 million pounds from Liverpool schools to help pay for grammar schools in the south of England.
