0:44.6	and did some honest to God investigative journalism on why UFOs had gone mainstream in journalism.
0:51.2	Now that same off-earth intrigue has jumped from your TV to the United States Congress.
1:00.0	This month and last, the House of Representatives held three hearings where no less than
1:06.6	Matt Gates, Alexandria, Acausea, Cortez, and a guy who was very clearly from Tennessee Tennessee all demanded answers from Pentagon officials about
1:16.6	UAPs or what we used to call UFOs.
1:20.3	Four lawmakers have come and asked Speaker McCarthy to form a bipartisan
1:24.8	UFO Select Committee with subpoena authority to collect information from the
1:29.4	Pentagon. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer proposed a UFO disclosure bill to
1:34.4	declassify as much sensitive information as possible regarding
1:38.0	quote biological evidence of living or deceased non-human intelligence."
1:44.0	But what dominates these UFO hearings are the revelations from the
1:51.0	whistleblower David Gresch, a decorated combat veteran who spent 14 years
1:56.3	in the Air Force before going on to serve in the U.S. National Geospatial Intelligence Agency
2:01.6	and the National Reconnaissance Office, where from 2020 to
2:05.0	2022 he was a member of the U.S. Department of Defense's Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon
