I'm very excited about our guest, Dr. Paul Davies, you may recognize the name. He has been all

over the media. Probably every major media news source has done a story on him, and he is the guy,

most of these stories are saying, who will talk to ETs, although he's a skeptic about extraterrestrial visitation,

but we'll talk about that.

He's got an impressive resume here.

Paul Davies is a theoretical physicist, a cosmologist, an astrobiologist, and a best-selling

author.

He's a director of the Beyond Center for Fundamental

Concepts in Science and co-director of the Cosmology Initiative at Arizona State University.

He's been getting so much press because he recently spoke at the Pontifical Academy for Science Study Week on astrobiology

at the Vatican and the Royal Society's recent conference on astrobiology.

That's the Royal Society in London, and the name of their conference was the detection of extraterrestrial life and the

consequences for science and society. So he's been doing a lot of work on philosophizing
