Let's go ahead and talk about the fights tonight. The UFC fight night main event tonight was

Moycano versus Chris Duncan. I actually thought Chris was going to get this done. I actually

picked Chris to win this fight. I don't know. I just thought maybe the age. I thought maybe just

the miles on Moycano. Also, too know. I just thought maybe the age. I thought maybe just the

miles on Moycano also too. I think just all the other things that Moe Conno is involved in. He's got his gym. He's got his podcast. He's got so many things going on. And I went through a part in my career where I was opening gyms and I was running gyms. And it just so happened to be kind of like towards the twilight of my

career I was like 37 30 36 37 somewhere in there when I was fighting benson I literally

opened my gym three weeks before I fought venson so huge mistake but I was already in the process

of open it um when they called me asking me if I wanted to fight benson and I said yeah but I actually

was already in the process of opening it when they asked me if I want to fight Pettus for the title um but yeah so look

this is this is one of those things man two teammates having to fight the UFC has a tendency

sometimes to try and get this going and it's okay this is part of the game this is this is really

I've always said to myself I said look if I'm going to fight my teammate it's got to is part of the game this is this is really i've always said to myself i said look if

i'm going to fight my teammate it's got to be for the goal in this situation moi con getting a little bit

older chris kind of on the rise um and i thought it was a great fight i thought honestly like

look duncan wasn't out of it until he got clipped he got hit with the beautiful left hook

and it was just a great exchange got sat down down. And then from then all, you could tell he took the shot he took. And then the follow-up shots from the top position, nice shots from there. I mean, look, Moe Connell looked fantastic tonight. Absolutely fantastic. And I've always said this is that when fighters are fighting someone they're familiar with, at least in

my case, is you tend to get the best out of them. I was so familiar with Gilbert Melendez that I just,

when I came out, I just knew what to expect. I just knew his power. I knew his, his wrestling,

I knew his cardio, I knew his heart. I knew all those things.

And I knew how prepared I had to be. And there's that just, I think you, you end up,

you're more focused, you're more dialed in. You see everything. Just so crystal clear.
