Hello everybody, it's John Pollock and Phil Chertalk with our UFC 278 post show in which

we have a new UFC Walter Waite champion Leon Rocky Edwards, one of the, I think one

of the greatest endings to a fight I've ever seen, I'm stunned as we are speaking minutes

after watching this of what was just, dude, Kamaro Usman was just cruising.

Leon, I cannot recall someone so broken in a fight that just seemed like let's just

get this fifth round over with.

I mean, it was stunning.

It was totally stunning.

Absolutely.

I mean, we spoke last week about this fight and how it might play out and I was predicting

that Leon Edwards was going to win this fight, but this was certainly not the manner.

And I was definitely doubting that prediction as we were heading into the fifth round.

I mean, this is probably a, a ending to a fight that will rank up there among the biggest

ever, I think, like just it wasn't just the way this fight was going where Leon Edwards

actually looked very good in the first round.

And then it was just Usman turned it on for rounds two through four and was continuing

that into the fifth, but then all of a sudden it's, there are 56 seconds left in the

fight.

And Leon Edwards, who's just showing nothing, absolutely nothing at the end of this

fight throws out this, this head kick and sleeps Kamaro Usman.

And it is the combination of just this spectacular finish.

It's a new champion.
